History
Founded in 2003, the DC Regional Christian Church has a modern-day heritage and fellowship within a broader restoration movement of New Testament Christianity. At DC Regional, we are a family of believers with one mission: to follow Jesus. DC Regional is a gathering of people who are passionate about following Jesus and helping others do the same.
Mission
It’s our prayer to become a church family of thousands of lives that have been changed by having a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. Our mission is simply stated is to obey the great commission and the two greatest commands of Christ.
“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Get Connected
Everyone has a need to be connected with others personally. When we are relationally tied in, we discover the blessings and benefits God has for us. So, whenever it’s convenient for you we would love to get together. Grabbing a bite to eat while we share scriptures together is a great way to build new friendships and grow in our relationship with God. After being with us, you’ll notice fairly quickly that we value having small networks of friendships that pray for each other and help each other find strength in God. Daryl Reed
Daryl’s passion for preaching was fanned into flame during his college years at Western Illinois University. For over a quarter century, Daryl has labored in Christian ministry in several states: Michigan, Illinois, California, Ohio, and Washington, DC. Since 2003, Daryl has served as Lead Minister of DC Regional Christian Church in the Washington metropolitan area. Being the grandson of a church of Christ preacher, Daryl appreciates his deep Restoration Movement roots. Considering himself to be a bridge-builder, Daryl loves to promote unity amongst believers to advance the gospel. Daryl has served on several executive committees for Christian conferences and conventions including Vice President of the North American Christian Convention in 2013 and President of the Eastern Christian Conference in 2017. Daryl and his wife Charon have three sons — Cameron, Harrison, and Wynston.
